‘Frasier’ season second was premiered on September 20, 1994 and season opener was ‘Slow Tango in South Seattle’. It marked the beginning of second season on NBC network by moving from Thursday evenings to Tuesdays. 24 episodes were aired during the second season of series. Season opens with Dr. Frasier who finds that a novel written by his old acquaintance includes an incident from his past. Next episode was named ‘The Unkindest Cut of All’. In this episode, Eddie impregnates neighbor’s dog and Dr. Frasier decides that it’s the right time to get him neutered. In the next episode, Tom appears as the New Station Manager. Dr. Frasier sets up a date for him with Daphne Moon, without knowing that Tom is a gay and his eyes are on him (Frasier). In the next episode ‘Flour Child’, Niles decides that it’s the time to be a father and carries around a sack of flour as an imaginary baby to experience fatherhood. Then, comes the episode entitled ‘Duke’s, We Hardly Knew Ye’.
Other major developments this season were: - Dr. Frasier takes a date to Bora Bora; Dr. Frasier meets Artie, Maris’ old friend and forces her to patch up the differences between them; Dr. Frasier protests against Roz’s will to produce Bulldog’s Sports Show; Martin tries his best to solve a case- the ‘Weeping Lotus’ murder; Frasier’s old friend, Sam Malone comes to him. He wants Dr. Frasier to solve his trouble; Some co-incidents make Dr. Frasier to repeatedly disturb the privacy of Daphne’s room and he feels guilty. When second season nears its end, we see that Frasier and Niles open their own restaurant ‘Les Freres Heureux (The Happy Brothers)’. But things don’t go as per their anticipation. Season finale ‘Dark Victory’ was aired on May 23, 1995. In this episode, we see that it’s Martins’ birthday but everyone is in a bad mood. Dr. Frasier utilizes his professional training to bring everyone together.

Frasier and Niles open their own restaurant and on the opening night, everything goes wrong. All waiters run out and it forces Martin, Daphne and Roz to fill up the vacant roles. Eventually, Niles takes over the position of the Chef and Roz helps him. Martin becomes a bartender and Roz becomes a waitress. Just to make the things worse, Roz accidentally sets the place on fire.
